The game is focused on survival and testing your skills in avoiding objects and staying alive as long as possible. In this game you are a sphere that you can easily control with simple touch control joystick that allows you movement in all directions. As you start with the run/survival you should avoid all the small red squares that are coming in your way, because if you get hit few times it is game over. SPHEX gets more and more difficult as you progress, so it will always be challenging. Also worth to mention is that there are multiple bosses and new enemies attacking you so will make the survival as hard as possible.
What we really liked in the gameplay is that you can always receive all kinds of power ups and upgrades which are crucial in staying alive and surviving. You can get those and upgrade with the experience points that you acquired and can be different type like freezing enemies, explosions or slowing time.
